Job Description

We are seeking a Visual Producer for Design & Manufacturing to oversee the development and production of projects that will be designed for use in the 3D space. In this position, you will manage projects lead by a team of designers as they design, engineer, and follow the project through to completion. You will work on quoting, vendor management, setting a budget, managing timelines and client expectations, approving purchase orders, and providing support and motivation for the internal team. The Creative Team will execute the visuals and content, however, you should still be skilled with the Adobe Design Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat, and have a strong background in Art and Design. A background in 3D model making and/or manufacturing is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include the following:

• Manage design opportunities and projects in project management-based software
• Manage vendor relationships, specs, and source new vendors when necessary
• Quote projects and manage budgets
• Establish, update, and manage timelines
• Provide tasks, specs, and assets to Creative teams
• Client liaising - Lead client discussions, manage client expectations, provide regular client updates
• Optimize workflow and identify efficiencies
• Manage Creative Team resources/freelancers
• Responsible for Regulatory submissions
• Route and review proofs and samples

Requirements

• Must have a Design background
• Agency and pharmaceutical experience a plus
• Overseas manufacturing experience a plus
• Proficient in Adobe Suite
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must have excellent organizational skills
• Experience in management a plus
• Must be able to work in a highly collaborative team environment with designers from other disciplines including graphic design, industrial design, and engineering
• Must be able to understand important design and print production concepts, such as die-lines, color profiles, file formats, proofing, mock-ups and prototyping
• Must be a critical thinker who exhibits problem solving ability
• Must be proactive and decisive
