Position Available – Freelance 3D Medical Animator

Nucleus Medical Media requires a freelance 3D Medical Animator to assist with animation projects during times of increased workload. This is a temporary, non-full-time position. The role involves producing animations for various markets, including healthcare, education, pharmaceutical, medical device, and broadcast industries.

Responsibilities
The freelancer will collaborate with the creative team and project managers to:

• Develop topics, concepts, time estimates, storyboards, models, animatics, and final animations.
• Work in a team-oriented, deadline-driven environment to meet project requirements.

Requisite Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in 3D software, specifically Cinema 4D, with competence in modeling, rendering, animating, and audio editing.
• Familiarity with modeling software such as ZBrush is an advantage.
• Experience with AfterEffects and Premiere is required.
• Graduate-level degree from an accredited medical illustration program, with knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and surgery.
• Must provide and use a personal Mac or Windows-based PC or laptop, along with necessary software to complete assigned work.
• Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal interaction with the team.
• Ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Capability to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Preference for candidates with 3+ years of experience in a deadline-driven setting.
